Northern Scene by Nina Large is a collection of stories told by those with a passion for the North East live music scene. The book contains a selection of portrait photography and first person accounts from a wide range of musicians and music lovers. The purpose of this project was to show how lively the North East live music scene is and the community that has formed through the local live music events.
Volume 1 features 16 different stories with photography by Nina Large, J. Spinkz, Paul Murray, Ryan Yates, Matt Imlah and Gemma Dobson. These stories range from heartfelt accounts of the way music careers have begun, to hilarious anecdotes of experiences at live music events.
